These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Kookd. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Kookd.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You retain ownership of recipes, photos, comments, and other content you submit. You grant Kookd a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service and to make content available according to the privacy and sharing choices you select.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to upload your content and that it does not violate the law or another person's rights.

You may not use Kookd to:

• Break the law, deceive others, or infringe intellectual-property rights
• Harass others or publish hateful, threatening, or harmful content
• Introduce malware or interfere with the security or operation of the app
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or access the service through unauthorised means
• Impersonate another person or misuse another user's account

Recipes, nutrition estimates, substitutions, and AI-generated suggestions are provided for general informational purposes. They may contain errors and are not medical or dietary advice. Check ingredients, allergens, food safety, and cooking requirements yourself, particularly when serving someone with allergies or other health needs.

The Kookd name, branding, software, design, and other materials we provide are owned by us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Kookd. You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when these terms are violated, the service or its users are at risk, or the law requires it.

Kookd is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every result will be accurate. To the extent permitted by law, Kookd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms here and update the date. If a change is significant, we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continuing to use Kookd after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
